This Privacy Policy explains how VintageVegasShirts.com ("we", "us") handles information in the Vintage Vegas Trivia mobile app (the "App").
Playing without an account
You can play the App without creating an account. In that mode we do not collect personal information that identifies you.
Account information
If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored only in a securely hashed form, never in plaintext). You may also provide an optional display name, which appears on the leaderboard.
Gameplay data
When signed in, we store gameplay information — such as your scores, streaks, games played, achievements, and answer history — to power your profile, stats, and the global leaderboard.
"Ask about this venue" feature
If you use this feature, the question text you enter is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response about the venue. Please do not enter personal or sensitive information into this field.
How we use information
We use the above solely to operate the App: to authenticate you, save your progress, display leaderboards, and respond to your questions. We do not sell your information, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Third parties
We use Anthropic to process "Ask about this venue" questions. External links (such as the "Venue Merchandise" button) open in your browser and are governed by the privacy policies of those sites (e.g., vintagevegasshirts.com).
Data retention and deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile screen ("Delete account"). This removes your account and your data from our systems, including the leaderboard.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Security
Account data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and passwords are stored hashed.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
